You will see a lot of them spread across Mumbai – at railway stations or at busy road junctions. At a station, the skywalks will start at the overbridge – on the East and West sides, and continue for upto 0.5 Km or 1 KM – for use of pedestrians to enable them to walk and get down further away from the extremely crowded roads just outside the station where there’s a very good chance that pedestrians may get hit by BEST buses, taxis, autos or street traffic.
